OBAMA APPOINTS VAN JONES: WOOT

I can’t remember when I’ve been so excited about a White House appointment. On March 10th 2009, Obama announced that he has appointed Van Jones as a special adviser on Green Jobs. Van Jones is a community organizer, environmental and social justice advocate, and founder of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, as well as personal role model and hero to one Jack Golightly.
